“ Don’t overdo your makeup. “The key is to maintain that pregnancy glow is to embrace it. Keep it simple and clean- naturally defined brows, mascara, a hydrating foundation or tinted moisturizer,” shares celebrity makeup artist Alexandra Rutkay.
“ Perfect your eye game. Pregnancy makeup depends on the ability for the products to last through sweat, tears, and hormonal swings that can send skin into disarray. Alexandra suggests making an eye primer your go-to for this special time in your life, because few other products will have the ability to keep your eyes looking fresh when you decide you need to have a good cry over a commercial with puppies, hot chocolate, or just about anything else. “Using an eye primer is a must. Use cream to powder eyeshadows and press the shadow on the lid instead of sweeping because it on will help the pigments to adhere to the base.” Try Votre Vu Eyelid Smoother.

“ Each designer has relayed exactly what kind of look they want MUAs to create on the models, and it’s very common for them to want a dewy, but natural, finish.
“Highlighters are obviously popular on Instagram, but it’s way too much for most fashion week or day-to-day looks,” said Rutkay. “A subtle skin-like glow is what makeup keys usually like, and Glossier’s Haloscope does the trick. A quick swipe on the cheek bones is a fast and easy way to give your skin a little subtle, healthy sheen.”

“ Contouring has definitely become a favorite technique of beauty lovers, but not everyone adores it.
The type of contour we are seeing in the mainstream is meant for the stage; like for the actors who sit in the back row," celebrity makeup artist Alexandra Rutkay told Insider.
She added, "This type of contouring is an overdone trend and — I should mention — probably best left to be done by professionals. Brown and streaky isn't a good look."
